Who’s Kris Kaneta?

Kaneta picThanks for visiting! I guess you’re here to learn a little about me. Among other things, I am a B2B marketer with experiences spanning healthcare technology, consulting, financial services and secondary markets. That said, I despise the term “B2B”. At the end of the day, people buy from people. So I’d prefer to think of myself as a “people” marketer.

My musings will be primarily on marketing and communications but also anything that strikes me as particularly interesting or debate worthy. Of particular interest to me is social media and its role in B2B marketing. At one point a self-proclaimed skeptic, I now admit that we have witnessed the tipping point in adoption. The real question is around how marketers will ultimately measure its effectiveness.

A marketer by day, I am also a wanna-be musician by night. Once an aspiring musician, I have resolved myself to the fact that rock-stardom is just not in the cards for me. But hey, being a marketer is just about the next best thing, right?
